On January 24 of 2019, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (CNHTC for short) convened the 8th Workers’ Congress of the 17th Session. The Congress deliberated and approved the Administrative Report of “Persisting in Reform and Seizing Opportunities to fully promote the high-quality development of CNHTC”, “Report of Approved Items by the Joint Conference during the adjournment of the Workers’ Congress” and “Ten Comments regarding the deepening reform of CNHTC”. The Congress confirmed the development target of 2019 and proposed to give priority to 10 Projects.

    On April 1 of 2019, the 30,000th Sitrak truck produced by CNHTC went off line, marking that high-end heavy trucks in Chinese market reached a new milestone.

    On May 25 of 2019, the New Steyr Product Release Conference with the theme of “the King’s Return of Sinotruk & Weichai,” i.e. Sinotruk matched with Weichai engine, was grandly held in Xinzhou, Shanxi. This is Sinotruk’s first stop of truck launching in the market with products equipped with Weichai engines. On May 27, Sinotruk Hohan trucks equipped with Weichai engines with the theme “Sinotruk & Weichai the King’s Return” were released simultaneously in domestic 15 cities.

    On October 1, 2019, on the 70th anniversary of the founding of The People's Republic of China, the Shandong float with “the country flourishes and people live in peace” made by CNHTC passed through the Tiananmen Square and was gloriously inspected by the Party, the state leaders and the national people.

    On November 3 of 2019, the 3rd China Enterprise Reform and Development Forum was officially opened and attracted over 1400 entrepreneur representatives, experts and scholars from central enterprises, local state-owned enterprises and private enterprises to attend the forum. Mr. Tan Xuguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CNHTC, was invited to attend the main Forum and made a keynote speech on how to “Focus on the main business without any distractions” and realize the high-quality development of state-owned enterprises. Mr. Tan summarized his over 20 years’ business management experiences to “three must dos”, “three not to dos” and “three strivings for the first”.

    SINOTRUK realized vehicle sales volume of 296.2 thousand units in 2019 and achieved operation revenue of RMB 116.7 billion, a year-on-year growth of 6%; operating profit of RMB 5.79 billion, a year-on-year growth of 8.9%, reflecting that profit growth higher than revenue growth, best ever in history.

    In 2018, SINOTRUK realized the sales of 327,000 vehicles, realized operating revenues of RMB 110 billion and realized a total profit of RMB 6.5 billion, all of which made a historic breakthrough. It is one of the enterprises with the highest operation quality in the domestic heavy truck industry of China.

    On September 1, 2018, with the approval of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the decision of CPC Jinan Municipal Committee, Comrade Tan Xuguang served as secretary of CPC SINOTRUK Committee and board chairman of SINOTRUK. According to the resolution made on the first meeting of the new leadership of CPC SINOTRUK Group Committee, a meeting with the attendance of all leading cadres of the Group was convened. At the meeting, Comrade Tan Xuguang, secretary of CPC SINOTRUK Group Committee and board chairman of SINOTRUK Group made a keynote speech and proposed a strategic vision of "Six Must Realize" for all the leading cadres of SINOTRUK.

    On July 12, 2018, the opening ceremony of Global Village Insurance Brokers Co., Ltd. was held in Beijing.

    On April 12, 2018, the world's first driverless electric truck Manufactured by SINOTRUK opened its trial operation in Tianjin Port. The model of this truck was "HOWO-T5G" and it was equipped with the world's advanced driving system and mature and reliable pure electric central drive control system, incorporating innovative technologies such as AI, Internet of Vehicle, cloud computing, new energy, new materials, etc.

    On September 15, 2017, Ma Kai, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council, visited China National Heavy Duty Truck (SINOTRUK for short) to inspect and guide its work. He praised SINOTRUK for adhering to the strategy of leading technology and being at the forefront of the industry in the R&D of new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicles (ICV).

    On December 12, 2017, the participation ceremony of the first batch of members of SINOTRUK MAN Technology Products' 1.5 million km Mileage and 1 Million Heroes Club under the theme of "Above 1 Million, the Unseen" was held in Jinan. Fu Zhongyan, a user from Wuxi, Jiangsu, drove SINOTRUK Sitrak C7H tractor for 1.5 million kilometers in 42 months, and the average daily mileage reached more than 1,000 kilometers. The key technical assembly kept in good condition and was not overhauled. This is not only the real presentation of SINOTRUK's products' high reliability and high attendance rate, and reaching the life expectancy of B10 of 1.5 million kilometers, but also the perfect display of the advantages of SINOTRUK products with MAN technology that have been validated by the market and bring practical results to users. With no doubt, this is a milestone in the development of the domestic heavy truck industry.

    On December 13, 2017, SINOTRUK held the off-line ceremony of the 1,000,000th HOWO heavy truck under the theme of "1,000,000 Heroes Witness 1,000,000 HOWO Trucks". HOWO is an international brand of SINOTRUK. The products under such brand have been exported to more than 90 countries and regions. For the 13th consecutive year, this brand has maintained the top position among the heavy trucks to be exported. HOWO heavy trucks going out in large quantities not only occupy a place in the international market, but also explain the core meaning of "Made in China" to the people of the world with high quality.

    The first Generation of intelligent heavy duty truck was launched by Sinotruk officially on September 19.

    "Practicing Made in China 2025 strategy, Sinotruk is in Action, Development Forum for Sinotruk 60th Anniversary and Conference for Sinotruk Intelligent Strategy and Vehicle Display" was held in Jinan, and the first generation of intelligent heavy duty truck was launched by Sinotruk officially, which marked that Sinotruk opened a new era of intelligent manufacturing on September 19.

    The APP "Intelligent Sinotruk" was launched officially on March 2, and CNHTC Jinan Global Village E-Commerce Co., Ltd. was established, which marked that Sinotruk opened an era of "Internet + Marketing" on March 2. Jinan Global Village E-Commerce Co., Ltd was unveiled officially on April 26, and "Intelligent Sinotruk E-commerce Platform" was launched officially on April 26.

    On October 13, 2015, Li Yuanchao, member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and Vice President, had an inspection visit to SINOTRUK. Li Yuanchao fully confirms practices and achievements of SINOTRUK and encourages SINOTRUK to continue to work hard in stabilizing of growth, adjusting of structures and scientific & technological innovation, etc. and create advanced experiences in a new normal state of economy.

    On September 19, 2015, Shandong HOWO Auto Finance Co., Ltd., a company controlled by SINOTRUK, opened for business. HOWO is a non-bank financial institution approved to be set up by the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) and also the first auto finance company in Shandong province. HOWO will innovate and expand business products positively and serves the auto finance market in Shandong province or even in China by relying on its perfect risk management and control, high-efficiency business processes and professional management teams.

    On August 16, 2015, the Science & Technology Center of SINOTRUK was officially put into use. This Center is the only national heavy-duty truck engineering technology research center in China Approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the second tallest building currently put into use in Jinan city and also the tallest building in eastern part of Jinan. The official opening of this Center opens a new chapter for better development of SINOTRUK.

    On May 12, 2014, SINOTRUK held the MAN technology products one-year anniversary and the six thousandth MAN technology product hand-over ceremony.

    On May 7, 2014, the China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (SINOTRUK) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the DANGOTE Group in Nigeria while Chinese Premier Li Keqiang was on his official visit in four countries in Africa.

    On January 17, 2013, SITRAK - the cooperation brand between SINOTRUK and MAN was launched.

    Jan. 15, 2011: SINOTRUK held a groundbreaking ceremony to make its first investment of RMB 1 billion to construct the new site of Fujian Haixi Automobile Co., Ltd.

    Sept. 28, 2010: SINOTRUK Chengdu WANGPAI Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. was unveiled.

    July 15, 2009: SINOTRUK (Hong Kong) Limited signed an agreement with German MAN Company in due form to form strategic partnership in capital, technology, products, markets and other aspects.

    Nov. 28, 2007: SINOTRUK was listed on HKSE main board as a red chip. The company name listed is SINOTRUK (Hong Kong) Limited, stock code: 3808.

    Apr. 18, 2006: SINOTRUK Jinan Power Co., Ltd. was established in Jinan and had its leading product line of heavy duty truck engine put into operation.

    Aug. 6, 2004: SINOTRUK (Hong Kong) International Capital Co., Ltd was formally incorporated in Hong Kong. With the approval of Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, SINOTRUK (Hong Kong) International Capital Co., Ltd. was established on Aug. 7.

    Feb. 12, 2004: Approved by Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Shandong Xiaoya Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. was changed to SINOTRUK Jinan Truck Co., Ltd. and its short name was changed to SINOTRUK from Xiaoya Electric Appliance.

    June 9, 2003: SINOTRUK and Volvo Group signed an agreement regarding a joint venture of heavy duty truck at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in due form. June 30, Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China approved the joint venture contract signed between SINOTRUK and Volvo. July 10, the joint venture Jinan Huawo Truck Co., Ltd. was set up.

    Aug. 18, 2002: SINOTRUK set up China’s largest manufacturing base of heavy duty axles.

    Jan. 18, 2001: The establishment of New SINOTRUK was officially announced and Ma Chunji acted as the president of the board directors and secretary of CPC SINOTRUK Committee.

    Sep. 9, 2000: New corporate management like Ma Chunji, president of the board directors and secretary of CPC SINOTRUK Committee, took their roles in China National Heavy Duty Truck Group.

    July 25, 2000: Zhu Rongji, Premier of the State Council, presided over the 74^th Working Meeting of the Premier and decided to divide China National Heavy Duty Truck Group into three parts, which were separately administered by Shandong, Shaanxi and Chongqing. The main body was delegated to Shandong province for administration and retained its previous name of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group.

    Apr. 5, 1995: STEYR project passed national acceptance.

    1990: Formed China National Heavy Duty Truck Group by taking the united heavy duty truck company as main body and combining with other business relevant entities with the approval of the State Council..

    1984: The united heavy duty truck company introduced complete vehicle technology from Austrian STEYR AG and started to produce STEYR heavy duty trucks in China with Jinan Auto Manufacturing General Factory as the main project sponsor.

    1984: Formed a united heavy duty truck company by taking Jinan Auto Manufacturing General Factory as its main body and absorbing other complete vehicle, engine and parts manufacturers in China with the state approval.

    1983: Introduced STEYR 91 range of heavy duty truck manufacturing technology project from Austria with the state approval.

    Dec. 1964: Renamed as Jinan Auto Manufacturing General Factory.

    1958: Jinan Auto Manufacturing Factory was officially established.

    March 1953: Approved by Ministry of Transport, its name was determined as Jinan Auto Repair and Parts Factory directly supervised by Ministry of Transport.
