On July 18-19, Ye Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited the frontline production at Weichai Group and SINOTRUK to conduct research and provide encouragement. He aimed to understand the status of production operations and technological transformation while expressing his appreciation for the employees who are working diligently under high temperatures and delivering heat-relief supplies to frontline workers.
At the high-power engine production base No. 1 factory and cast and forge center of Weichai, Ye Jianjun met with and expressed gratitude to the frontline employees who were hard at work. He specifically visited the Innovation Incubation Base for Model Workers and Craftsmen, where he had a cordial exchange with 'National Craftsman' Wang Shujun about frontline technological transformation and the training of skilled technicians.
In the foundry department's workshop and the final assembly workshop of Jinan Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing Company at SINOTRUK, Ye Jianjun carefully assessed the temperature and air quality in the workshops. He inquired about the work and life needs of frontline employees, advising them to pay more attention to their health and ensure proper heat-relief measures and safety precautions, while providing them with heat-relief supplies.
Ye Jianjun emphasized that union organizations at all levels within the group should engage with employees on the ground to understand their needs and address any practical difficulties they encounter in their work and lives, ensuring that all staff safely and smoothly get through the summer. He urged all levels of cadres and employees to fully align with the arrangements from the group’s Party Committee, maintaining a spirit of unwavering commitment, striving to be at the forefront, and competing for first place, actively contributing to the group's annual goals and tasks.
