From September 6th to 12th, Man Shengang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited Linde Hydraulics, KION, Baudouin, Ferretti and other affiliated enterprises in Germany and France, listened to the work reports of the senior management teams of these enterprise, learned more about the quality and efficiency of enterprise operation, product research and development, market development, business collaboration, etc., and had in-depth discussions and exchanges with strategic partners Stefan Harton, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bosch Group, and Christian Levin, CEO of Traton Group, while Liu Yun, Secretary of Weifang Municipal Party Committee, participated in KION-related activities.
To start with, Man Shengang visited the new Linde Hydraulic factory and the Linde Material Handling Experience Center of KION Group in Germany to investigate the development of high-end hydraulic and intelligent logistics business. He held a symposium with KION's senior management team, attended the signing ceremony of the cooperation memorandum between KION Group, Linglong Tire and Chenming Group, and unveiled the Sinotruk European R&D Center.
In France, Man Shengang visited Baudouin Company and Cannes Yacht Show, had a symposium with the senior management teams of Baudouin and Ferretti, and gained an in-depth understanding of the development of large-bore high-end engines and yachts. Man Shengang comprehensively inspected Baudouin's high-speed boat power solutions, high-end silent units and the latest yacht products of Ferretti's major brands exhibited at Cannes Yacht Show, and participated in the sea trial of Ferretti's world's first ship.
During the visit, Man Shengang also presided over a symposium of Chinese representatives from European subsidiaries of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, listened to the work reports of these Chinese representatives of overseas affiliated enterprises including KION, Linde Hydraulic, ARADEX, and VDS, overseas R&D institutions including Weichai hydraulic transmission innovation center and Belgium branch of Shantui, Germany branch of Zhongtong Bus and other trading platforms. He also delivered important instructions to further promote the strengthening, optimization, and expansion of the Group's European business.
Man Shengang instructed that developing European business is an important fulcrum for Shandong Heavy Industry Group to promote its globalization strategy and an inevitable requirement for building a world-class enterprise. Sinotruk and Bosch Group also reached a strategic cooperation agreement.
