On November 26, Liu Aili, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of China Post Group, led a delegation of senior officials and key leaders from Shandong branch to visit Shandong Heavy Industry Group for an exchange. Man Shengang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, met with the China Post delegation and reached a consensus on deepening strategic cooperation.
The China Post delegation toured several facilities, including the intelligent logistics park at the Sinotruk Laiwu factory, the product exhibition hall, and the final assembly and welding workshops for heavy trucks. During the visit, they were briefed on the ongoing collaboration in the field of intelligent logistics services and the product and intelligent manufacturing developments at Sinotruk.
Liu Aili expressed high appreciation for the world-class intelligent warehousing logistics system and heavy truck smart manufacturing production lines at the Sinotruk Laiwu factory. He noted that Shandong Heavy Industry Group and China Post have been deepening their strategic cooperation in logistics transportation, financial services, and other areas in recent years, achieving remarkable results and a win-win development. He emphasized that China Post, a diversified large enterprise group focusing on postal services, express logistics, finance, and e-commerce, and Shandong Heavy Industry Group, a leading high-end equipment manufacturing enterprise, complement each other’s strengths. He expressed the hope that the two sides would continue to expand cooperation, establishing a comprehensive and holistic strategic partnership.
Man Shengang warmly welcomed the China Post delegation and thanked them for their strong support. He pointed out that the cooperation between China Post and Shandong Heavy Industry Group is advancing in all areas, with particular success in the collaboration between China Post and Sinotruk to establish a benchmark project for intelligent warehousing and logistics for vehicle components, which has significantly contributed to the establishment of a world-class heavy truck manufacturing base in Laiwu. He expressed hope that the two sides would further deepen cooperation in logistics, finance, and other sectors, and, based on China Post’s logistics transportation needs, jointly develop customized, optimized solutions for new types of transportation capacity. Together, they would explore business model innovations and build new productive forces.
