Wang Zhijian Visited Sinotruk’s Laiwu Plant for Research and Condolences

On February 3 (the sixth day of the Chinese New Year), Sinotruk fully commenced production across its manufacturing system. On the first working day of the year, Wang Zhijian, Vice Party Secretary and General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Party Secretary and Chairman of Sinotruk, visited the Laiwu Plant of Jinan Truck Manufacturing Company for an on-site inspection and extended New Year greetings to frontline employees.

At the final assembly workshop, welding workshop, body assembly section, and chassis longitudinal beam division, Wang Zhijian engaged in friendly conversations with frontline workers, expressing gratitude for their hard work and extending his New Year wishes. During the visit, he inquired in detail about post-holiday order volumes and production scheduling, as well as quality control measures for vehicles and components and the plant’s production and delivery capacity. He emphasized that all units must prioritize workplace safety by conducting a thorough 'first lesson on safety' to reinforce safety protocols, ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards. He also instructed functional departments to enhance logistical support for employees, improve canteen management, ensure food safety, and implement concrete measures to maintain high standards in ingredient sourcing, meal quality, and dining conditions.

Wang Zhijian stated that in the new year, all employees should stay motivated and driven, firmly aiming to 'lead the way and take the lead.' With heightened enthusiasm and determination, they should actively contribute to achieving key annual objectives, maintaining a relentless pursuit of excellence. He urged the teams to promote the implementation and refinement of various goals and tasks in the first quarter, strive to achieve a 'good start' in the first quarter, and contribute to the high-quality development of the group to a new level in 2025.
