On the morning of September 22, the first group wedding for employees of Shandong Heavy Industry and SINOTRUK was successfully held on the picturesque shores of Xueye Lake. Sixty-six young employee couples arrived hand in hand in their wedding attire. Surrounded by the blessings of family members, friends, colleagues and the wider SINOTRUK family, they pledged lifelong devotion to one another. The solemn yet romantic group ceremony captured their special moment of happiness as SINOTRUK employees and marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, attended the ceremony and served as witness for the newlyweds. Ye Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director and Chairman of the Trade Union, delivered remarks as the chief wedding officiant and presented gifts to the newlyweds. Huang Bo, a Level II Inspector of the Jinan Federation of Trade Unions, offered words of encouragement for married life, while Liu Zhengtao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of SINOTRUK, delivered welcoming remarks. More than 1,000 guests gathered to witness the joyful occasion, including relevant leaders from Shandong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. and the Jinan Federation of Trade Unions, members of SINOTRUK’s leadership team, officials at department-head level and above, model workers and master craftsmen, representatives of young employees, and family members of the newlyweds.
The 66 newlywed couples taking part in the group wedding are a vivid representation of the outstanding young employees of Shandong Heavy Industry and SINOTRUK. Working across production, R&D, domestic and overseas markets, management and other areas of the business, they came together through a shared SINOTRUK dream and a common commitment to hard work. Along the way, they grew together, came to know and understand one another, and found lasting love through their shared endeavors. Accompanied by ceremonial music, the couples took part in a series of traditional Chinese wedding rituals, including the Three Bows Ceremony, the Hair-Binding Ceremony, the Shared Meal Ceremony and the Nuptial Cup Ceremony. They then recited their marriage certificates aloud together and solemnly pledged to remain by each other’s side for life.
Wang Zhijian served as witness for the newlyweds and extended his warmest congratulations and most sincere wishes to the 66 couples.
